Service Description

Thousands of users use the much loved Comber Greenway every week. This gentle paced walk tells the story of the development of the corridor as a railway line built in the 1850's through to the Greenway we love today. Your guide Steven Patterson was a key figure developing the greenway as a local resident and when working for Sustrans. He has collaborated with Charles P Friel - expert railway enthusiast and historian - to present a walk from Rail to Trail. The walk take 75 minutes and has around 6 stopping pointes of interest between CS Lewis Square and Neill's Hill Halt on the Sandown Road. Suitable for all abilities on this one mile walk.
